Why this exists
Most study material is either a full course you do not have time for or a flashcard deck that teaches you to recognise a word without understanding it. StudyWalks sits between the two: every concept on an exam blueprint gets one short spoken entry, and the entries are ordered so nothing arrives before the thing it depends on.
Who makes it
StudyWalks is written and produced by Justin Carver. Every entry is drafted against a maintained open textbook and a second, independently authored source, then checked by software before it ships — spoken length, banned phrasing, prerequisite integrity, and verbatim overlap against both sources. Drafting from memory is forbidden by written policy. The method page describes the whole process, including what happens when the two sources disagree.
How it is paid for
The catalog is free to watch and always will be. The work is funded by licensing the catalog and commissioning new subjects for institutions, and by advertising on section pages. Advertising never appears on an entry page, and no advertiser has any say in what an entry says or which sources it is drafted from.
What it is not
This is not a college course and does not pretend to be one. 44 hours across 12 subjects is a concept index, not forty-five contact hours of instruction. StudyWalks is not affiliated with any government agency, the College Board, DSST, or any testing body.
