How this is built
Two independent sources for every claim, a declared prerequisite for every entry, and an automated check before anything ships.
Two sources, never one
Every subject is drafted against a maintained open textbook — the anchor — and a second, independently authored text — the witness. Not a summary of the anchor: a different author, a different publisher, a different account of the same material. Drafting from memory is forbidden by written policy.
Where the anchor has fallen behind the primary source it reports, the primary source governs and the divergence is recorded.
A worked example. OpenStax American Government 4e still presents the Lemon test as the operative Establishment Clause standard. In Kennedy v. Bremerton (2022) the Court stated it had abandoned that test. The course follows the opinion: Lemon is taught as history, its abandonment as current law, and a third entry addresses the study guides still printing the three prongs. The decision is logged as Amendment 2.8.
Three lengths, one job each
An atom runs about twenty seconds and carries one idea. A procedure runs sixty to ninety seconds and works one technique through honestly — no skipped steps. A capstone runs two to three minutes and combines what came before into one worked problem.
Nothing before its prerequisites
Every entry declares what it depends on, by number. Across the catalog that is 8,766 declared links, audited automatically for references that point nowhere and for dependencies used but never declared.
Checked before it ships
- Spoken length held inside a band for each tier, so a twenty-second entry really is twenty seconds
- Banned phrasing rejected — “simply”, “obviously”, “it's easy to see”. They shame the viewer who does not find it easy
- Verbatim overlap against both source texts measured, so the writing is genuinely original
- Every rendered file checked against the script it was built from
Sensitive material
Some terms name conditions rather than concepts. The policy is narrow and fixed: define the word, name the category so a viewer can recognise a situation, and route to someone qualified. The course never instructs a viewer to assess, intervene, or diagnose.
What this is not
This is not a college course and does not pretend to be one. 44 hours across 12 subjects is a concept index, not forty-five contact hours of instruction. Take the course from your college, your instructor, or a free provider — then walk the concepts here until they are automatic.
